Welcome to my very first blog. All the kids are doing it, so I figured I should too. I'm undertaking a very interesting project, and it appears as if there are a few folks out there who are interested in following me in my progress. So this page will do its best to document the progress I make on building my very own R2-D2.

And yes, he's going to be full Radio Controlled. He will walk, he will talk, his head will spin, and he will light up. That's all I'm going to attempt for this round, but I've got a few "special modifications" in mind that I might get around to adding in eventually.
